c1880 Antique French Porcelain CherubBeautiful antique porcelain cherub carrying a basket and collecting hearts. Exceptional detail, molded curled hair, finely painted face with blue eye's, painted brows, lips and cheeks, all finely done. Sweet display with the cherub holding a couple of hearts in his hand, with basket slung over shoulder. Wings are perfect condition, no restoration. The condition is excellent, there is a small rough spot on base, I'm assuming a flower used to be there that came off, its very minor. Measures 7" tall. The piece is marked on the underside with the blue underglaze mark as shown used by Charles Levy, a French artist. This piece dates in the late 1800s!
