Description of Item for Sale: This large antique brass clock is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. The clock body is from reticulated castings and it carries beautifully detailed traditional Louis XV rococo styling. The patina on this clock is very beautiful-just the right antique color and great highlights! The eight day clockworks are from the Japy Freres factory in France. The clock chimes once on the half hour and tolls the hours on a pleasant sounding nickel bell. The pendulum is not original but it is the correct length and weight and functions as it should. The clock runs well and keeps good time. The entire clock is in excellent antique condition, with no dents, cracks, bent parts or other damage. Dimensions: 18" tall, 13" wide, 5" deep.
