Description of item for sale: This pretty clock was made by the clockmaker Otto Klein in the city of Anvers (Antwerp), Belgium. It is in excellent antique condition and runs extremely well. Note that the minute hand is broken off-the only damage we could see. You will need to find a replacement hand. The bronze colored spelter body depicts a working couple returning from a day in the fields and shows a lovebird in the center. The figures are complete, including their tools, and we could find absolutely no damage or repairs. The 8 day time only movement is not marked but it is the typical superior quality French movement a la Japy Freres. The clock runs perfectly and keeps excellent time. The clock stands on an onyx base. The pendulum is original to the clock-the numbers on the pendulum and works match. The key is also probably original. Dimensions: 15" tall, 12" wide, 4½" deep.
