~Beautiful Antique French Figurine ~ This is a magnificent, outstanding antique French porcelain group! It is filled with exquisite detail, glorious color, handpainted florals and intricate designs, delicate French lace, porcelain applied flowers, and thick gold gilt accents... it is gorgeous! The figures are large, there are six of them altogether, and they have the most beautiful faces, each one finely handpainted with superb detail. The piece artfully tells the story of a young beauty being tended to by her maid, courted by two suitors, with her mother watching from the chair, her father observing in the background and her little dog on a gilded footstool as another onlooker. Behind her is a large beautiful vanity with a collection of decorative boxes displayed, and delicate porcelain applied pink roses trailing down the side of the arched mirror. A spectacular antique treasure... it is the finest of French porcelain. Size and condition : a massive heavy piece, it measures 15 1/2 " wide by 12" tall, and weighs 15 pounds unboxed.
