Antique French? tole BOX landscape scene tray Mustard

A gorgeous tole box/cannister in a classic mustard color with gold line details on all sides except the rear. The front of the container displays a beautifully rendered scene of architecture and people encircled with the same gold detail found on the rest of the box. The bottom is not signed but painted a deep red color which I have seen before on vintage french tole pieces. The interior is unpainted and shows some age, but no real rusting found. The exterior of the box is in wonderful condition, a few paint chips that attest to the boxes age, none are detracting. Measures approx. 8.5" h x 7' w x 7"d. The top has a few minor dents that are not accompanied with any paint loss and they are not distracting, but again attest to the age of the piece. Not a super heavy piece. It is a tin/metal box as shown and has a hinged lid - see hinge soldering in 2 photos. Please note: all items are handled with care and come from a smoke-free environment.
