~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ A charming Antique French Vichy check fabric~*~ this stunning textile dates from the very early 1800's, perhaps even late 1700's. Check fabrics were the primary furnishing fabrics in France during the 1700's and early 1800's and this gorgeous textile would have been used as part of a bedding set. ~This piece was found with other 18th century bed curtains and was most likely used for a short period of time as the colors are still wonderfully saturated ! This piece is a medium weight cotton, with a hand stitched hem on one long end and there is a hand stitched seam that runs down the middle of the length ~ there is a little pucker where it was gathered also and seamed! ~ This fabric is ideal for cutting projects, pillows, lampshades etc where a large amount of early fabric isn't needed. The hand stitching is GORGEOUS ~*~ ( piece 68D) MEASUREMENTS: This lovely piece measures 21 inches wide by 57 inches long ~*~ CONDITION: I have hand washed this lovely fabric and it's ready to use. There are a few very small holes in this piece and some very pale small marks that didn't fully wash ~*~ ~*~You will never have to pay any Customs or Duty charges on my textiles posted to an address within the United States, as I have already imported all of my European textiles and have paid any fees for you~*~ My
