Antique French Victorian CARVED Sofa Parlor Club Chairs THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! You are bidding on a pair of Antique French Victorian Mahogany Sofa Parlor Club Chairs. I have the matching sofa to this Victorian Parlor Set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. These pieces sit on beautifully curved cabriole legs with shell crested floral motifs carved at the top of each leg. The arm rests are beautifully scrolled in a nice floral leaf pattern and it is finished on ALL of its sides so it can be placed anyw in a room. Throughout the top and bottom of each chair is beautifully carved with nicely curved and open lattice work with a nicely carved floral Cartouche motif carved at the top as well. I took a picture of the sofa with the matching chairs that are on a separate Ebay auction so you can get a better idea on what they look like together. The upholstery is a beautiful red velvet with a button tufted back and nice brass tacked nailhead trim going throughout the edges although it needs to be recovered (at leasdt on one of them). This set was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an older set that is all original so it has some minor imperfections on it and other than the upholstery its overall in excellent shape. Each chair measures approx 34 inches wide, 40 inches high, 24 inches deep and sits at approx 18 inches in height. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
