Featured at auction is an antique and very unusual Frog Ink Well, dating from the early 20th Century. The material appears to be silverplate and pewter. Item is numbered on the base with 613 and stands approximately 3 inches tall. The hinge for the lid is a bit loose, however is intact and fully functional. Absolutely charming ink well and a most unusual subject matter. Item comes from the Arkansas River Valley of Colorado and was owned by my spouse's Grandmother.
