Today I am selling an extra crock that is not actually being used. It is a 3 Gallon Red Wing with the 4" wing. The colors of the logo are very dark and vibrant...not faded or smeared as others I have seen. It is one of my nicest crocks. After doing some research I came across this website. /how_5144771_identify-red-wing-pottery.html Due to the fact that my crock has Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. on the front the dates for that logo are between 1906-1936. As you can see from the photos, there are no cracks or repairs that I can see with the naked eye. There are a couple of glaze rubs on the front of crock, several pops to glaze during firing. Overall in very nice condition. I gave you a photo of interior and bottom also. I am not sure of age of crock, probably you Red Wing collectors could pin point it down by the logo on the front. I just love the crocks, but am not a seasoned collector. Crock measures a Huge 11" Tall and is 10" Diameter Weighs approximately 16# I describe to the best of my ability....not an antique expert....simply an antique lover! No refunds once purchased.
