This ribbon dates back to 1889, and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first president of the United States. It reads" Representatives GAR, Centennial Celebration of the Inauguration of George Washington, First President of the United States, April 30th 1889." This ribbon is lined with a blue border on two sides, and a small design accents throughout the ribbon. It is in a protective plastic covering. The ribbon measures approximately 8.75" long and 2.5" wide. This has a very antique persona, and would be a great addition to any collection!
