Up for sale is a wonderful vintage original Patented 1901 GE 12" Brass Blade Electric Fan. This is an early version - you can tell by the fancy backside Brass GE Design on the motor. The number on the brass tag is No. 829701 along with N.P. 6252 .This is a (stationary) non-oscillating fan - 3 speed. The fan works nicely and runs smooth - also runs quiet and at all 3 speeds. The cord is the old original and must be replaced. You are buying the fan as is - the fan is running perfectly but I can not give any guarantees. The fan is in Excellent Original - as found condition -direct from an old estate. All I did was wipe off some of the dust and grime. The brass cage and blades are in superb shape - no bends, breaks, or repairs. The paint is good - t are a few paint flakes and some normal wear but no damages - no dings, dents, repairs, etc. In my view a new paint job would look nice. I personally like the look of the brass natural and unpolished -it gives a more mellow look and more natural. I have several pics to view and judge condition for yourself. The fan weighs approx 18 lbs as it sits and will be several more pounds with the packaging.S/h/i charges depend on the final value fee - for insurance purposes and location of delivery. YOu can log into the UPS website and make calculations for yourself - just add $6 for packaging materials -as this will take at least 2 strong boxes and I will not skimp on packaging. I want you the buyer to receive the item in the condition that I have it listed in - I do not take chances when it comes an items safety. The fan is heavy and I prefer to ship UPS -as the this is by far the most reasonable service. I will package very securely. If the winning bidder wants extra services such as blade or cage removal I can do so but I will charge $5 extra for the toil. I have not packaged a fan for sometime so - input from the buyer is appreciated. Buer pays all s/h/i charges. I will put down $25 as an estimate and after the sale I will be able to give an exact amount. This is a heavy item and I want to cover my expenses. BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!! Cell .
