This exquisite 18th century English mustard pot is fresh from a Newport, Rhode Island estate. This small urn shaped cup with handle and lid has four pierced flowers connected by engraved garlands. T is a standing lion engraved below the pierced flower on the front. This George III mustard pot was made in London in 1787-88 by Cornls. Bland. The mustard pot stands about 5 inches tall and measures approx. 2 1/4 inches in diameter. T is no glass insert included. This beautiful piece is in a fine state of preservation! Extremely Good Condition! Buyer pays shipping & insurance. NO RESERVE! . I am told that this mustard pot was made by Charles Hougham of London ...died 1797.
