ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENGLISH GOLD CARNELIAN AGATE SEAL FOB CHARM c1800 GOAT 'HH'

A lovely antique English, Georgian period heavily gold filled fob (solid in parts); beautifully made, with stylised arched frame and set with a high quality polished carnelian seal, engraved with a crest depicting the image of a goat wirh exposed heart and the initials 'HH' in reverse.

Typically Georgian...very collectable & wearable too!

CONDITION : All original and good. Some wear to gold commensurate with age & use, see pics. Seal perfect.

DEFECTS : None as such.

DATE/MARKS : Around 1780/1800. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS : 32 mm tall, base 24 x 18 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or 3/4 of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT : Approx. 11.7 grams.
