Antique Georgian, Victorian Old ROSE Cut Diamond &14k Yellow Gold RING Description Up for your consideration is this... Delightful Antique Georgian, Victorian Old ROSE Cut Diamond &14k Yellow Gold RING 4.1 grams - total weight (tested positive for at least 14k, it may be 15kt) Fresh from an old estate, w e recently acquired this stunning antique ring. Photos were taken in interior and outside lighting .outside I am no This Georgian rose cut diamond ring is designed with three graduating diamonds mounted in silver with foil backs. The gold setting has detailed gold shoulders with a foliate design on either side of the diamonds leading to a reeded shank. The diamonds are typical for the era with slightly irregular rounded shapes. The ring has a central diamond of approximate spread of at least 5.5 mm (making it approx look like at least 5/8 ct). The setting silver mount comes up over the diamond...thats why its hard to measure. The other two stones have an approximate spread of 4.5mm. on either side of the center. The measurements/weight is approximate, as the stones have not removed from their settings . It is in very good condition with minor wear to the silver bezels. The stones do not have and visible chips or cracks. They are not perfectly clear. The beauty is in the marvelous sparkle, gray to champagne colored hue created most likey by the foil beneath the diamonds and in the lovely original setting . It is beautiful worn alone or with other Georgian rings stacked on the finger. Make sure to super size the pics. I am not a gemologist so please view photos carefully but ....you can return it for a refund within 14 days if you are not happy! It is in good estate condition. Some normal wear from use and age to the gold. It is approx. a size 8 1/2, but could be sized by a jeweler. A treasure for any jewelry Collection!
