Antique Beer Stein 2 LITER The number 249 is stamped on the bottom Country of Manufacture: GermanyType: German Beer Stein Weight: 3lbs 14.6 oz Sub-Type: Lidded Beer Stein Size: 2 LiterSize (Height): 16 -1/4" Size: (Width at Bottom) 5 -1/4 inch wide base Size: (width at top) 3 -1/4 " inch wide mouthUsage: Drink Beer, Luxury Gift. Birthday Gift, Collector Year of Creation: predates 1891 MATERIALS: Pottery and pewter lid and handle CONDITION: The condition is very good with great patina on the pewter. The fitting portion of the pewter hardware is cracked all the way across. It's still holding on tight but it is cra cked. I don't see any cracks or any other items that would deem reportable on the entire Stein.
