Up for auction is an antique German beer stein with pewter lid. I believe this item came from a 19 century brewery. Overall condition is good, please notice that t is a small dent on the top of the lid. This imperfection is noted in the photographs. This stein has a stamping on the bottom, it is unclear to me, but t is clearly a larger M W in the stamp.The stein measures 9 5/8" tall with a base of 4 13/16". This is a very detailed piece, with no chips or cracks. Low reserve, so happy bidding.
