I am selling doll items from my friend's estate. She had a doll hospital, and also collected for many years Very pretty antique German bisque head doll, only 9" tall. Made around 1890 by Gebruder Kuhlenz, her head is marked Gbr K (in a sunburst), 44-18. The doll has a perfect bisque socket head with an auburn mohair wig and brown glass eyes that are stationary. They never slept. She has a very slightly open mouth with upper teeth. The doll has a jointed composition body but I am sure it is not original. It is either newer or repainted. It is a nice body, completely jointed, even the wrists. The doll is nicely dressed, but the outfit has wear and I could not find her any shoes. She has muslin bloomers, a gauze slip and antique socks. Her pink trimmed dress is a very pretty silk-taffeta with a floral print. The dress has some thready areas and a small hole by the back of the skirt The clothes are sewn on to the doll. Please email with any questions. All items are 100 % guaranteed.
