Antique German Double Bisque Nodders

This wonderful antique Oriental Nodder pair has incredible detail work in the faces of both the man & woman. The woman's dress is handpainted with gold butterflies and her nodding fan has a beautiful gold hand painted floral design. The gentleman's pants are salmon colored with gold, hand painted sea anomaly design and his robe, pastel green scroll design. His pointed hat is purple as is his large fan. The fan is painted with a gold peacock. He sits cross legged with a wine cup in his right hand and a bowl and napkin on his left leg. Each figure measures 4 1/4" tall by 3 1/2" wide and 3" deep and on the bottom of the female piece, t is a "made in Germany" mark. T are no chips, cracks or repairs throughout and both pieces have their weights intact on the bottom of the nodder.
