I will be adding many more figurines in the next week so please check back. This is a STUNNING hand painted porcelain figural group depicting 2 Victorian women seated on a grassy base with applied porcelain flowers. There features are very delicately painted and they have beautiful faces. One woman is playing a mandolin with a leopard finish. The other is holding an open music book. The detail is so fine the book has actual musical notes in it. It was hard to get good photos of their faces because of flash flare. It makes a gorgeous display, the only damage to note is the end of the mandolin and her thumb are chipped off. Please enlarge all photos for condition and to get an idea of the beauty of this piece (I am also listing another Bohne figurine). It is marked on the rear of the base with the corn over N mark of Ernst Bohne & Sons, Rudolstadt , Thuringia , Germany. There is also Made in Germany in a circle on the bottom. It is heavy for its size and measures about 7.5" high and almost 10" wide. Payment is due within 3 days of auction end. I do combine shipping whenever possible. If postage is less than expected, I do refund the difference. I only add $1 to help towards the cost of bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc.
