Accord Sales I am offering for sale this delightful German Porcelain Circa 1870 Quatrefoil heavily gilt Augustus Rex Dresden cabinet cup and saucer. It is decorated with floral panels, scenes of lovers (after Watteau the 18th century artist). It has lovely original gilding which is intact and the letters AR entwined, which stands for Augustus Rex. The condition of this lovely cup and saucer is perfect and original. There is no damage, restoration, or wear to the gilding at all. A beautiful antique porcelain item. Length of saucer 13cm (5.25 inch), Height of cup and saucer 5.5cm (2.25 inch), width of saucer 11cm (4.25 inch) This listing is for the cup and saucer only. The stand is just for photographic purposes and is not included in the listing. There is no reserve on this cup and saucer and the successful buyer will be delighted with their purchase.
