Antique German? French? Brass Fireman Fire Helmet, *NR* ...... At first glance I thought this solid brass Fire Helmet was French, but the is a small label that says, "G. BeuttenMuller & Co. Bretten" so it could be German. Could it have been made for the French market? This helmet measures 8 inches by 10 ¾ inches by 6 ½ inches tall and has a shield on the front marked, St. It still retains its original leather liner, but as you can see t are dents to the top.
