Very handsome personal or 5 o'clock-sized tea set, all hand made and it is beautifully chased and with extensive repousse work (see pics). Definitely European and most likely German or Italian. Old estate pieces with definitely considerable age and I would date these pieces to the latter part of the 1800s, ca. 1860 - 1890. Well marked "800" to denote Continental European Grade Sterling (80% Silver) and with some additional marks I don't recognize (a crown, a crescent moon, and two crossed hammers or similar tools, see pics). Unconditionally guaranteed antique European Continental Sterling Silver and your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy it and don't agree after you see it in person, but you aren't going to be disappointed. CONDITION REPORT: Overall excellent condition as the pics show with just a few minor pings (see especially the pic of the handle view of the teapot), but nothing concerning. Otherwise, no problems found on very careful and honest inspection. NO scratches, NO monograms or removals, all the chasing and repousse work very crisp and not worn down. Teapot hinge works fine with no problems and the lids to the teapot and the sugar come on and off with no problems. No missing parts and no repairs and no loose parts. The pics are very honest and show the condition well. SIZE: read more
