Antique Kestner celluloid head doll with kid leather body to restore. She is 15" tall and marked on the back of her head JDK 201 2. Her head has a piece or the rim missing near the front of the crown. There is also a corner missing on the edge of the shoulderplate & another on the side under the kid. All would be covered by the kid and the one on the rim would be covered by a wig.Her arms are loose where they join the kid body at the shoulders. The lower arms are bisque and there are 2 tiny chips on the fingers, hard to see. She has the typical kid kestner body with stitched toes. There is one small hole in the back of the right upper thigh.She has brown sleep glass eyes. Her shoulder measures 2 3/4" across and 2 3/8" deep. The head is about 4" tall and has a circumfrence of 8 1/4". If you didn't want to use the celluloid head you could use this body on a bisque head. Sold as is to restore or for parts.
