Here is a nice German Kestner Girl Doll.She is in overall very good condition. Hers eyes are blue and work very well when sleep to wake. She has an open mouth and what look to be period clothes. She is marked on the back of her head, " Made in Germany 167 ". Her hair is in good condition, but needs to be re-glued to her head. A good old doll that needs some minor repairs (hair). She measures 21" tall. Please e-mail with any questions. Someone has asked the following: Have you back lighted the head to check for hairline cracks? Does she have any wig pulls under her wig? Thanks! My response: There are no cracks in the face or head of the doll. I know very little about dolls, so I have taken some more close-up pics. As for the hair, it is detached from the head, I have shown the inside of the hair or wig. The head has a solid cap that appears to have never been removed, so I won't attempt to do so myself. Back lighting is therefore not feasible. I have also shown the back of the legs as they do show some wear and marks. (no holes)
