A rather vintageantique wooden German violin case. circa 18 90 Original Label inside : Fabrication von Musikinstrumenten & Saiten des Josef Muller in Schonbach b. Eger (Bohmen) Painted wood domed top and a ll original brass fittings. Central lock - the key is missing. Two brass hinged fastening catches have a good opening/closing action. The brass back hinges are original and robust. The black original paint to the case is wonderfully worn. The red woolen interior has wear. The case measures approx: 79 cms long. 12 cms high.
