This is a rare presentation piece that was given to a sister lodge on the 50th anniversary. These items are hand made out of solid 14 karat yellow gold by a German master goldsmith. The workmanship is immaculate in every detail. The deeply bold, hand engraving is the finest example I have seen in many years. The eye of the compass is bezel set with a oval shaped, natural, one carat, blue sapphire. The pieces are undated, but the style of engraving, the style of the original presentation case, and the unparalleled quality and craftsmanship, suggests that these pieces could be one hundred or more years old. The gold weight alone is 156.5 grams. The square is 6" to the side. Good luck bidding on this extremely rare piece of Masonic history. You will most likely never see another of these! Keep in mind that at todays gold prices, t is approx. $1900.00 in scrap gold value alone. You can melt it down and still have $1900.00 in gold value.
