An antique German Souvenir China mug with a hand painted picture of "Reegendambrucke Hamburg" (Regendam Bridge) on front. Picture shows the bridge, barges and old time sail rigged ships at anchor and sailing. Old time buildings and cathedral of Hamburg in background. Lithopane translucent bottom shows a man and woman at a table. Mug is 3 1/4" high, 3 1/4" at top. Has nice deep maroon trim on top, inside and bottom rims. No chips, cracks or flakes, in super nice shape! Lithopane mugs are rare. Circa 1890s.
