A responsive and easy playing violin that we have had at home for a very long time. Dating from early 1900s and most probably German it remains in outstanding condition and has seen several luthier visits for set up adjustments, strings and bridges over the years. Fitted with D'Addario Helicore strings (£50) last year and a new bridge. Ebony fingerboard. Nicely figured two piece back and ribs. Nicely done neat purling and scroll. Fully lined inside. No cracks or repairs anywhere. Sound post is up and the instrument is ready to play. Back length 14.25 inches. String length 13 inches. This violin was played by my Father before and after the War then by myself. Hand tendon problems have curtailed my playing and my violins are going/gone. Included is the case associated with it in a mock crocodile effect. Fully functional. I will post it with the bridge up unless advised otherwise UK buyers only
