DESCRIPTION: This is an old Valentine heart-shaped candy container and/or Christmas ornament. It was possibly made in Germany in the early 1900s, but it is not marked. It has a string loop to attach it to a feather tree, and comes apart in two pieces to store candy inside. The paper on the inside is lithographed with fleur de lis designs.MATERIALS: Thick paper or paper mache'DIMENSIONS: Measures about 2-¼ x 2-1/8 x 1-1/8 inches.CONDITION: Overall in GOOD, USED CONDITION. It has decent paint with some wear. The decoration around the edges is missing in several spots.If you collect candy containers, Dresden Christmas ornaments, or valentines day memorabilia, then this little heart will be a nice addition to your collection!ALWAYS CHECK MY LISTINGS FOR OTHER INTERESTING ITEMS!FYI: Our pictures are taken under bright incandescent camera lighting or using a flash that sometimes fades out the colors or makes them appear brighter.
