This auction is for a BEAUTIFUL!!! antique mantle clock. The case is a NON magnetic metal, could be Bronze, more likelyt a White metal or Spelter that has been gold guilded. The clock does have nice weight. The casting is VERY DETAILED! with a figural face below the click and a most ORNATE all over design. To the left of the clock is a statue of a Woman playing a string instrument. This piece looks like it was attatched at one time, it comes off now, but nothing is broken. The clock dial is a pure white porcelain with a gold decoration in the center. T are 3 winding holes. I have the hey that fits the 2 bottom ones, the top hole take a smaller key that I do not have. The clock movement is marked GILBERT. The clock chimes on the hour and half hour. I can not get the clock to keep running SO, the clock is being sold with the understanding that the workings will need some repair or cleaning, it just may need a proper set up. The clock measures 11 3/4" tall by 14" long by 5 1/2" deep. This is a GREAT LOOKING clock! Offered at NO RESERVE!!! USA shipping is 20.00 PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MANY MORE ITEMS AT NO RESERVE!!!
