You are bidding on a TALL Antique Victorian Renaissance Revival Giltwood Full Figure Console Pier Mirror. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. This is from the Second Period of the 19th Century and dates back to Circa 1860 American made of the Renaissance Revival Period. It is BEAUTIFULLY carved and gilded throughout. This is a FULL FIGURE mirror towering 98 inches tall. It has a beautiful Gilt crown carved at the top with big beautiful carved Ancathus leaves on each side that are beautifully scrolled with a nice floral leaf pattern. The top has beautifully carved circular rosettes and beautifully carved floral foliage as shown in the photos. The bottom sits on beautifully scrolled Ancathus carved feet with carved roses at the top of each side. Some of this beautifully carved detail comes out several inches. Each side of the mirror also has circular carved rosettes with a carved floral leaf design at the middle as well and throughout the piece has beautifully carved detail with a nicely recessed crown top. It makes for a BEAUTIFUL accent piece that can be used in a foyer or hallway, bedroom or living room, study, library and anyw else throughout your home and will be a conversation piece. This piece has a beautiful Giltwood finish over solid carved Mahogany and the back is all beautiful large planked solid panels and this is the REAL DEAL. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it with its age as shown in the pictures below but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 33 1/2 inches wide, 98 inches high and approx 5 inches deep.This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
