A Handsome Antique glass curio cabinet Glass Front Cabinet
Eastlake Style Brass Appointments Removable Shelves ( This cabinet was from my parent's collection and stood for 50 years in the hall displaying their collection of porcelain birds) It has decorated elements of classicalstyle and fine artistry with nice wood veneer and craftsmanship .- A lovely cabinet that would accent any prominent home.This display cabinet is probably of walnut wood American ca 1860 shelves of glass mirror back SIZE- · 16” D x 44” w x 84” T Height is 65 inches of the cases on a base approximately 14 inches high This walnut Victorian bookcase was made in America and it has the original glass and hardware. There are five shelves and two drawers. The handles for the drawers have nice detail along with the rest of the bookcase. This cabinet would make a great addition to any library or as an addition to your home. The Glass doors do not have handles -They have wood framed key holes on each door-I may have the keys inside the case,but will have to look -see last photo of poor quality close up of doors.- There are five removable adjustable glass shelves included with this cabinet and they each measure about 40” wide x 10” deep. There are three more glass shelves at the bottom that have not been installed. There are two drawers with ornate brass pulls. The front of the drawers are a nice burled veneer of rosewood or walnut. At the top cornice is nice work of corner detailing. This is a beautiful antique solid display cabinet .
