You know at KHE we usually stay away from newer items, if you watch our listings regularly, but it's getting harder and harder to find antiques. Take a look and see what we have this week. We have gone to bi-weekly auction listings, we will usually end Sunday or Monday nights between 4 & 8 pm (EST). Please check our store items for some nice old glassware, paper collectibles,and kitchenware. T are also some nice "retro" items from the 30s, 40s and 50s. We also take emails for harder to find items, we will keep our eyes out for things you can't find locally that may be in the Northeast US. Description: One Vintage Glass Door Knob set is in this auction. This old door hardware is in very nice shape, no chip, cracks or other defects can be seen on the knobs. The could use a cleaning with some patina from the years of use. The glass is mounted into brass and when viewed from the face it has a rosette type of connection to the metal. T is some white paint that needs to be cleaned off the brass, common for these old pieces but the brass will look very nice once you clean it up. The knob is 2 1/2" across on the tips of the octagon shape, 2 1/8" across the flat edges. The glass is 1 1/4" deep. It is held to the 1/4" shaft with set screws and is adjustable for width.
