You are Bidding on Two complete Sets or One "Twin Set" of Circa 1900 Crystal Glass Door Knobs,complete with set screws and adjustable shafts.All Working Parts on the Doorknobs have been Cleaned,Lubricated,and are in Very Good Condition! These doorknobs are the Twelve Point Variety and have the familiar "Scalloped" Design with Star Centers and are approximately 2" in diameter.Each comes with it,s own set of 1920,s "V" Style Faceplates,manufactured in the U.S.A. about twenty years later and are unmistakenly Classic Art Deco.These particular faceplates have a Unique and Very Nifty double V style on the bottoms with a singular one on the tops.They,re a little more unususal and Rare that other plates of the period.They have been Completely Cleaned of all dirt,grease and Grime from Years of Use and,though some of the Original Brass Plating is worn in places,the Patina is only that can only come from Age and the Years of Distressed Accents that formed over time.Each and every one has an Irridescent Rainbow of Colors that actually change,depending on the light and angle when you look at them! They could,however,be lightly sanded and Easily be Custom Finished to Match Your Door,Polished to an even Brighter Sheen with a product such as Brasso or Tarnex or even be replated,but I,ll leave that up to the New Owners to decide.The Faceplates measure 7" Long by 2" Wide at there widest.Again,that,s four (4) Doorknobs with all appropriate Hardware and (4) Faceplates and would make a wonderful addition to any Decor'.All knobs are clear and free of any chips or cracks.They have been cleaned with only a cotton cloth and warm water to maintain there own integrity,making this Twin Doorset ready for another 100 Years of Good Use!
