I have been told that this unique antique bottle is a snuff bottle. The bottle itself is blue, but it tapers down to a point, which is red. It may be handblown glass. The top is a china doll's head--it has what looks like a pink "flapper cap" and a green ruffled collar. The coloring is still in near mint condition. T is a ring of cork below the doll head, that keeps the stopper tightly in the bottle. It also has a braided string--possibly to allow the owner to wear it around her wrist and keep it close to take a bit of "snuff" as needed. The string shows some wear, and t is a white string (possibly from a price tag) intwined with it. The bottle, with the stopper in place is 4 inches high. At it's widest, the bottle itself is 1/2 inches wide. The china head is 3/4 wide. I do not see a maker's mark or place of origin marked on the bottle, so I don't know w it was made, who made it or exactly how old it may be. I have never seen a piece like this before.
