Up for sale is an antique Goebel Hummel Music Box that plays the tune "Edelweiss". The box is made out of wood with a lacquer finish and measures approximately 6 inches long by 4 inches wide and 1.5 inches in height. On the front of the music box it is signed "Hummel" and under the picture the words "Auf Wiederseh'n" (Farewell). On the back is written "Original Deichert Musical Box; Made in Western Germany". After it has been winded up the music starts once the box is open. Although the lacquer has lost some of it's luster it is still in fairly good condtion and it winds up and plays well. Swiss-made musical movement by Superstar of Switzerland. The picture below is of the actual item that the winning bidder will receive. This is a great item for Hummel collectors.
