This is a Beautiful Antique Gold "Carved Bird" Hair Locket. are the details.The locket measures,1 1/8" tall minus the top links,and 7/8" wide.The double sided locket is beautifully hand carved.The one side has a carved bird with black enamel.The other side has a beautiful carved center leaf.The locket opens and closes nicely.It still has the 2 original hand cut glass pieces inside.These small size lockets were used by Ladies at the time to hang in their hair.The Locket is not marked that i can see.I will have to call this one gold filled.It really is a very beautiful and quality Antique Locket that will make a wonderful addition to your collection.Take alook at the photos.Any questions feel free to email me.Good luck bidding....
