Antique Circa 1900 Gold Gilt Bronze Bird Cage Music Box. Elaborately crafted. Finely modeled specimen. Classic dome shape cage. Interesting knob on the top. 5 twisted rope pattern bars on the cage alternate wonderfully around. Ornate band around the shoulder and base with patterns in raised relief. Floral motif with continuous design around the lower base and mini beading. Bird dressed with brightly colored feathers, perched on a stand. Floor lined with velvet like fabric. When wound up, this merry fellow cheerfully sings in delight, his head moves from left to right, beak opens and shut and his tail twitches. Highly decorative collectible. Must have for any serious and dedicated Music Box Bird Cage Collector Enthusiast.
