This lovely desk has had some repairable water damage to the bottom drawers and some reglueing needs to be done on the bottom of the desk. T are two water stains from flower vases on the top. All of the repairs can be done with a minimum of effort by the buyer. The finish is such that to blend the new finish to the old is easy. The desk is 48" wide and 27" deep. It has three drawers on the left and two on the right and of course the center drawer. All of the pigeon holes and drawers are in NO need of service. The tambour (roll) top works smoothly and the key is present. This desk is from the early 1900s (turn of the century style), and is solid oak. My wife has owned it for at least 25 years. This auction is for pick up in Kenner Louisiana and will not be shipped. Kenner is w the New Orleans airport is located and my house is easy to find. I have this desk advertised locally as well so if it i sold before the auctions end it will be pulled from the market. In fully repaired condition this desk would be priced at from $500.00 to $800.00. This is an true antique and not a "repro" Thank you for your interest and good luck bidding! Ed and Karen
