a lovely and old Princess Ring, with an adjustable back, the squared back pulls out to make it bigger. I think at one time this was done for ladies with swollen knuckles. The stones are red, blue, amethyst, golden topaze, emerald, with a cabochon sapphire in the top. There are markings inside the ring, it is a pat no..and then a series of numbers.The ring is 1 inch across, and the size is 7 closed, and 10-11 open. (There is one piece of the goldtone missing on the back of the ring, that is hardly noticable, but I want to disclose it)The ring is stunning on.
