For all you true romantics out there.... This authenic regal Gone With the Wind Civil War Era solid wood bed High top carved full size bed with tiger maple grain in the middle portion on backboard. C herry mohogany finish. Great detail and in wonderful condition. Truly one of a kind from a by-gone era in history. Headboard and baseboard are connected by wide sideboard to create a sleigh bed effect, but more headboard and footboard are square shaped with dental designed carving on both. Unique one of a kind piece of classic Civil War era American furniture. Bed is 78" high and 59" wide. Came directly from an upstate NY Schoharie Village Victorian mansion. I even have the pictures of the gorgeous huge home it came out of... Can deliver locally (within 60 miles) for a small added delivery charge. A rare and amazing piece of historical art as furniture. The last picture is of the matching marble top dresser. This is not included in the auction, but please inquire if interested in making it a set.
