Antique Gothic Tudor Renaissance Buffet Server Cabinet THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on an Antique Carved Tudor Gothic Renaissance Buffet Side Server Cabinet. I have ALL the matching pieces to this antique dining room set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This set was VERY WELL made of THE HIGHEST QUALITY and is labeled by J.N. Slack & Co. in New York on 5th Ave and says "An Heirloom of Tomorrow" (the label can be seen in the auction of the matching server). This set was made in Circa 1902 and originally belonged to the Singer Sewing Machine family and has never left the same house for over 100 years and was kept in EXCELLENT condition as its all original. This is a RARE FIND due to its age, size and beauty and is one of the biggest and nicest sideboards I have ever brought to market. It sits on beautifully carved bracket legs with spindle carved columns on each side of each leg with figural faces, flowers, roses, lions, medallions and much more detail with to much to list. The center has a beautifully carved shield with inverted carved finials.It has a single door that folds down which has a beautiful figural face carved with beautiful depth and dimension in the detail. It has 2 drawers in total which are all doweled and dovetailed together with a brass hand milled mortise lock and key. The top has a nice double lined trim etched into the wood with carved rosettes spaced along the edges and a floral shaped medallion motif at the center. The sides have beautifully scrolled columns with a floral leaf pattern carved into the wood. Throughoutthe piece has nice rope carved trim and nice dental carved trim with a shell crested floral motif at the bottom. It has an exotic burl crotch wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures below. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is antique that is ALL ORIGINAL so it has some minor imperfections on it but overall its in EXCELLENT shape. This piece measures approx 48 inches wide, 36 1/4 inches high and approx 21 1/4 inches deep. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
