This textile is an amazing Antique / Vintage hand-woven grain sack from Europe! ~*~ STUNNING dark dark hemp stripe with a medium open weave and the lovely stripe is a faded earthy red stripe, lovely faded earthy red tone! ~*~ STUNNING and rare dark hemp. This sack has a slightly more coarse texture than most so best not used for a bolster bed pillow, but STUNNING as a decorative pillow , runner and many other gorgous uses! ~*~ ~*~ I love knowing that these textiles were produced without the use of pesticides, just wonderful natural fabric. Very easily maintained by machine washing. Please see easy washing instructions below! This lovely sack measures approx. 49 inches by 21 inches. ( of course it is twice the lenght as it has both sides. Both sides of my hemp grain sacks have the stripe unless otherwise noted~*~) ~ ( sack 108) CONDITION: This Vintage hand-woven European grain sack is unwashed with light storage dirt that will wash beautifully. These wonderful sacks make perfect upholstery fabric, bench cushion, outdoor furniture covers, bolster pillow for beds ( simply insert king sized pillow) , sofa pillows, floor pillow, ( simply fill with feather comforter or body pillow insert and add velcro or zip to the end!) laundry bag, table runner, bath mat ( hemp is naturally mold and mildew resistant) , Beach bag, roman shade, hand towels, you name it! They are also perfect for upholstery projects as the fabric is wonderful and very very durable! ~ These textiles are machine washable, tumble dry! I like to add fabric softener to the final rinse for added softness! Simply machine wash warm, tumble dry! ~*~ ~*~These textiles are, by nature, extremely Eco-friendly! The average age of these textiles is 100 years and they were naturally home grown, home retted ( in local lakes and ponds) and woven by hand. These textiles are being re-cycled today and showing off the extreme craftsmanship of past generations! Yet another feature that makes these textiles extremely eco-friendly is their durability. These textiles were designed to endure generations of constant use~ and will have an extremely long life. These sacks are 100% machine washable! I wash them on a regular warm cycle and then hang to dry ( however you can tumble dry too!).
