It came on a European shipment of antiques so I don't know if it is French, German or what since I could not find any markings on it. It has a porcelain on enamel face that measures 9.5" I have no way of knowing if it works since I do not have any way to hook it up. It is missing one hand. You must report damaged items to us within 24 hours. All package materials, box, wood, crate, etc. must be retained for damage inspection by all Shippers. For Greyhound shipments, you need to open your package at the terminal in case of damage, so a damage report can be made immediately and claim filed at your terminal. For DHL shipments they require a repair estimate or estimate of non-repair for some items, at their discretion. We have no control over this. This is their policy. Damage by any carrier must be reported to us within 24 hours. Claims have to be made on a timely basis or they are denied. We have never had a claim denied when filed within their policies.
