Here are a pair,plus one, of clock hands from a very early grandfather or long caseclock.The pair are beautifully made and decorated from, what appears to be, hand beaten sheet bronze or gun metal with a gilt finish.They are always vulnerable to damage and these are no exception with several repairs executed by soldering a thin layer of brass and steel on the back.The hour hand is still in need of repair having the pinion aperture missing, but this would just be a plain disc as it is covered be the minute hand.The minute hand is 7 inches long.The other hand included with these is a hand made steel single minute hand of very delicate design and a length of just under 6 inches.
