Up for auction is a very rare antique GREEN AND GOLD DRESSER BOX (DRESSER JAR) from the estate of George and Millie Neal in Sioux City, Iowa. The Klinger Neal Theatre at Morningside College and the George Neal Generator Plant in Sergeant Bluff were named for George Neal. This beautiful green dresser box was given to my mother by Millie Neal. I estimate that the Dresser Jar/ Dresser Box is over 100 years old. Some would describe it as a Melon Jar and some as a Dresser Box. It has a lovely girl on the top as you can see in the picture. The Dresser Jar is five inches across and five and one half inches high. Notice the beautiful gold around the bottom of the lid and at the closure. I have never, ever seen another one like it or similar to it. The rare antique is in excellent condition and t is NO RESERVE. I sell to USA Buyers only who have a U.S. Postal Address. If you are in another country and have a friend in the United States that I I can send the Dresser Jar/ Box to, that is fine. Buyer will pay a flat rate $9.50 to cover the cost of Priority Mail WITH INSURANCE.
