" ~~~FAST SHIPPING~~~ Up for Auction is this authentic, Antique Porcelain Chinese jar-vase, famille rose, from the Ch'ing Dynasty dating from 1862 A.D. to 1875 A.D., of white porcelain decorated with coloured enamels, the predominant being the rose colour derived from colloidal gold, characteristic of the `Famille Rose' wares. During the 18th century the Chinese developed this colour to a quality never before or since obtained. This vase is also called a melon jar from the rouned melon shap. This piece measures 11" tall. This would make a wonderful and unique antique gift, It was purchased in 2002 from the spring Preview Gump's Catalog and the original cost was $295.00. It comes with a copy of the original catalog page and original receipt. I am currently in the process of liquidating a very large estate (Some items very rare and hard to find) So please feel free to take a look. I will be more than happy to combine shipping .
