~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ ~*~This wonderful textile is a beautiful, 100% hand-woven roll of antique/vintage European hemp/linen roll ~ This roll of hand woven Vintage/ Antique European hemp/linen measures 16.9 yards long by 19.25 inches wide~*~* Beautiful, very pale, heavy weight and the most wonderful, homespun weave!! These linens are SO durable, wonderfully machine washable also! ~*~ This wonderful textile has a lovely, quite smooth texture, and has a wonderful homespun weave, while still being slightly finely woven. It is truly a spectacular linen roll~ ~ VERY bouncy, would make the most amazing slipcovers, upholstery fabric, clothing, curtains, blinds, you name it! ~ *~* ~ just wonderful natural fabric~*~* Eco-friendly ~*~* Please see attached some of the many projects that have been created by my designers and customers using my textiles! ~*~* Lovely unwashed original condition~ about 100 years old! ~*~( I have attached some photographs of some projects done in my linen, lovely indeed! not included in this buy it now) This length is in original condition, unwashed with light storage dirt that will wash beautifully~*~ Easy washing instructions below~~Please see my store page “ About Hand-woven, Homespun Yardage” for more information on these wonderful textiles ~ This would make amazing heirloom projects! ~*~ it is another wonderful textile treasure~*~ This linen is just beautiful when seamed for larger projects~ if you require larger amounts of linen please email me as my backstock is vast and I can almost always match much larger quantities for large projects~*~ ~*~* *~* ~*~You will never have to pay any Customs or Duty charges on my textiles posted to an address within the United States, as I have already imported all of my European textiles and have paid any fees for you~*~ My shipping is always fast, so you can expect your purchase to arrive between 1-3 days after payment within the USA~*~ ~*~This wonderful fabric has so many uses:STUNNING table runners~*~Upholstery, bedding, cushions, curtains,clothing, Roman Blinds, bags, ~ so many wonderful sewing projects~*~ ~*~The woman weavers of yesterday would spend their evenings weaving these amazing rolls of linen. It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen ~*~ These rolls are 100% machine washable, warm..if there is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally~ this presses the linen and there is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect). They can be dried in a dryer also! I like to add Downy Ultra to my last rinse cycle for an added touch of softness~ Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage . These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! ~ The average age of these rolls is about 100 years old, they are wonderful textile treasures~*~ Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms~*~ All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers. Natural fibers have the irregularities and subtleties that are inherent ...adding to their rustic charm~*~ These rolls are increasingly difficult to find as they have been used so extensively over the past 20 years.
