Up for auction we are offering this great specimen of a Daguerreotype Gutta Percha Case. It's the 1/6 size. The black case is close to mint but the top hinge has a little play and the clasp is broken. I was told this case is on the rare side but don't have a book to look it up. The raised Eagle and flag with Union Forever is just awesome. It holds a copy of a great young Civil War Soldier in excellent uniform. The pillow on the inside of the case shows no fading. We had to place a reserve on this one due to the amount on $ we have invested. Feel free to ask any questions. We always strive to be 100% accurate in our descriptions. S/H is $5.00
