This is a super antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver christening set comprising of a fork and spoon complete with in its original presentation box. Both are hallmarked for London 1897 with the silversmiths mark for William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman who worked for the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co - the inside of the box is also marked with the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths retail mark. Both bits are in super condition and the spoon measures 5 1/2" (14 cms) long and the fork is 5 3/4" (14.5 cms) and they weigh 53.8 grams in total. They ar particularly nice as the handles are decorated with a picture of Queen Victoria and the date 1837 - 1897 - please email with any queries - all questions will be answered between 9am and 6pm UK time.
